PWIB, Inc. began as an After-School program in 1993. It later developed into a community 501(c)3 program offering workshops on college saving, personal finance, resume writing, crochet, knitting and various arts & crafts

Founder-Executive Director

Nicole S. Maxwell M.S.Ed

Growing up in the 80's, there was always plenty of programs to keep people engaged and active. Then some people decided that those programs were too expensive and financial burden on city coffers.

There is so many things that our communities lack. Social programs that support children and seniors are few and far between. We could complain...OR, use the facilities in the community to help support it. Schools, churches, and my favorite, libraries. When we support each other, we will never want for anything.

What our customers are saying

We love to provide access to learning. All of the programs are offered free of charge.
